What you’ll do:
Assist in setup and serving of hot and/or cold foods and drinks from counters within the Parliament Café.
Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations
Serve and replenish food from counters during meal periods and then break down stations at the end of meal periods
Prepare and serve barista made speciality coffees
Interacts with customers in the serving, retail, and catering areas
Be responsible for the opening and closing of the Parliament café in the absence of the café supervisor, including cash handling.
What you bring:
A can-do attitude and flexible approach to working
Excellent attention to detail, plus good communication skills
Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal, but not required
General knowledge of health and safety procedures
Understanding of basic food hygiene and cleaning
