Key responsibilities:Working collaboratively with operational departments, to build dynamic and cost-effective people plans for The Championships– managing our management and culinary teamsCoordinate all recruitment advertising, screening, interview and onboarding processes through the use of our ATS system.Ensure the correct starter paperwork and RTW is on file for all employees and variable workers, in line with Levy standard and legal complianceContinually review the people journey for our managers and culinary teams, making suggestions and enhancements to create a diverse and inclusive workplace where colleagues can bring their whole selves to work.Working with the Head of L&D, ensure there is a live progressive training & development plan in place for all our culinary and management teams during The Championships Weekly reporting and accountability for labour budgetsSuccession planning and strategy management Maintain and manage the Workforce management system to ensure accurate record-keeping and complianceCoordinate operational delivery of all variable colleagues on live event days so that the operation runs as smoothly as possible.Working collaboratively with operational departments, to build dynamic and cost-effective people plans for the culinary and management teams Maintain, enhance and execute processes in place with regards to accreditation, check in, check out, allocation, overbook, shortages, welfare, and any other relevant aspect of the people functionSupport HOD’s to drive and implement people centric plans and activity in line with the People signatures Remain perceptive to innovative ideas and pursue them in a positive mannerSupport within the wider Compass business to actively engage and recruit culinary and management positions for ChampionshipsMain POC for Accommodation and management of controllablesKey Skills and ExperienceMin 3 years’ working as a People Operations Manager or similar role in a demanding fast paced environment – event experience desirableCulinary and Management specific recuitment desirable A positive attitude, friendly approach, always does the ‘right’ thingCommercial experience in a fast paced, high volume variable labour environment – experience in managing payroll systemsManagement of forecasts and labour budgeting Awareness of recruitment market and key competitors High degree of IT proficiency, including ATS and workforce management systemsSocial media and ‘tech-savvy’Excellent written and verbal communication skillsEngaging, enthusiastic, sociable and motivated (essential)Who we are:Levy UK & Ireland is the vibrant and exciting sector of Compass Group, the world’s largest catering company.
