Job Title:  Logistics Supervisor Location: Glasgow SEC (site based)Remuneration: £31,600 Additional Benefits Include -Medicash - Family Healthcare benefits, including dental, optical & therapy treatments Aviva Digicare - Free annual healthcare checkExclusive Benefits & Wellbeing site (Perks at Work)Entertainment discounts - up to 55% off cinema ticketsHealth & Wellbeing discounts - Discounts for Nuffield & Pure GymTravel discounts with holiday companies such as TUI & ExpediaShopping discounts - Save at high street & online stores Meals on dutyVodaphone discountsPension scheme & Life AssuranceEmployee Assistance Programme23 days + BH\'s & additional day off for your birthday2 days additional leave, following return from Maternity leave during first year backCompetitive & supportive family benefitsDay off for baby\'s first birthdayHoliday purchase schemeOn-going training & development & career pathwaysProfessional subscriptions paidFinancial wellbeing programme & preferred rates on salary finance productsKey Responsibilities:Event Logistics Management:Play a pivotal role in the seamless execution of live events, concerts & exhibitions at the SEC by managing the full logistical process.Oversee the transportation, storage & distribution of all equipment, materials & resources required for successful event setup & breakdown.Ensure the timely & accurate delivery of event materials to the venue, coordinating with internal teams & external suppliers.Manage the setup & dismantling of event infrastructure while ensuring safety & efficiency.Bar Cellar Operations:Take full responsibility for managing the bar cellars, ensuring efficient stock control, storage & distribution of beverages & supplies for events.Monitor & maintain inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment & rotation, minimising waste & keeping accurate records of stock movement.Ensure that bar operations are fully equipped for each event, working closely with suppliers to manage deliveries & stock availability.Maintain multiple clean, organised & compliant bar cellars that adhere to health & safety standards.Collaboration with Teams:Work closely with event planners, technical staff, bar staff&  external suppliers to ensure all logistical elements are in place & aligned with event requirements.Coordination of space optimisation within the venue & efficient use of resources.Act as a key point of contact for problem-solving on the ground, addressing any last-minute changes or challenges that arise during events.Lead the logistics team providing clear direction & ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.Problem Solving & Adaptability:Navigate & resolve challenges such as last-minute changes or logistical issues, demonstrating quick thinking, adaptability & resourceful problem-solving skills.Ensure that all logistical aspects contribute to the overall success of events, creating an efficient & organized environment at the SEC.Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of logistics operations, identifying opportunities for improvement &ensuring a smooth experience for all involved.About You: Logistics & Event Coordination ExperienceProven track record in logistics & event coordination, managing diverse events & adapting to varying requirements.In-depth understanding of transportation, storage&  distribution, ensuring seamless event flow.Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex logistical information clearly.Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail, ensuring meticulous planning & execution.Demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.Cellar Operations ExperienceExperienced in inventory management, tracking stock&  ordering supplies.Knowledgeable in line cleaning procedures, beer keg & gas requirements&  safety processes.Leadership & Team ManagementSkilled in supervising staff, ensuring efficient task completion.Capable of training new employees on operations, safety&  quality control.Experienced in rota management & overseeing day-to-day operations. At Levy UK & Ireland, we take pride in fostering a workplace culture that celebrates diversity & promotes inclusion.
