Sodexo Live! are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Hampden Park, Scotland's prestigious national stadium and home of the Scotland national football team. Reporting in to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading and managing our onsite teams and overall kitchen operations, with the expectation of delivering high-quality food production and services that exceed client expectations. You will effectively manage the financial aspects of the role and ensure management processes are in place and adhered to at all times.Menu architecture is paramount, you will be expected to create innovative menus that drive revenue and profits. You will also be involved in the planning and preparation for all events, including large and small-scale occasions, while collaborating closely with our venue partners to ensure exceptional experiences for our guests.We’re experience makers and food fanatics. Be part of something greater.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESTo provide management and leadership to the kitchen team and related activity at Hampden Park. And assisting at other venues in the region during live event days as and when required.To appropriately manage the onsite teams, ensuring food production and services are delivered at a consistently high standard to meet the requirements and expectations of our venue partners and the end customer.Prepare for future C&B and stadium events both large and small scale designing menus driving efficiencies where possible.To manage the operation in collaboration with the Executive Head Chef successful delivery of all catering requirements.To support in the development of the product offering within the stadium and manage relevant supplier relationships such as food, concession, equipment suppliers.To liaise with the on-site client on stadium events attending relevant meetings and communicating clearly to the on-site Sodexo Live team.Manage site specific catering requirements for Meetings and Events, match day hospitality services and teams in accordance with the Contract and SLA’s in placeTo develop and inspire customers with creative menus and dining experiences that are best in classAccountable for the Health and Safety of the teamTo evolve the Superbox and SkyBox offering both match day and non match day.Support the Venue Services Director in the development of business strategy in line with current and emerging consumer trendsWork in collaboration with the sales teams to deliver agreed sales & profit targets developing the offering to support current trends.Ensure that both, internal Sodexo Live! and our venue partner, business deadlines and targets relevant to your area are delivered.THE IDEAL CANDIDATEYou will be an exceptional Senior Sous Chef with extensive menu development expertise and previous experience of working in both of large and fine dining establishments. You will have strong creative skills with experience in identifying target audiences.
