Sodexo Justice Services is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as SPV General Manager.As the SPV General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing four PFI Custodial Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) contracts. In this key leadership position, you will act as the main liaison between the Ministry of Justice (MOJ), the SPV, and Sodexo, ensuring the smooth delivery of all contractual and commercial obligations.Your responsibilities will include managing relationships with stakeholders, driving performance across contracts, and ensuring compliance with all legal and operational standards. You will play a strategic role in addressing complex challenges, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that each contract meets financial, safety, and service delivery goals.If you’re ready to lead with impact and take on a challenging, high-visibility role, we encourage you to apply!This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position, Monday to Friday, primarily home-based with regularResponsibilities of the roleResponsible for the day to day management of the SPV Companies and report directly to the Board of Directors. Preparation and submission in a timely manner ofreports and information to the Shareholders and Directors of SPV relating to the SPV business on a regular basis.Preparation and submission in a timely manner of notices, records, consents, reports and any other communications required to be given to the Authority under the relevant project agreements. Management of the contractual variation process on behalf of SPV.Acting as interface between Sub-Contractors and Authority on all relevant matters including in respect of changes to the Works or Services, and variations of priceLiaising with Sub-Contractors to ensure any communications required under sub-contracts are supplied in a timely manner.Liaising with professional advisers of the SPV Companies and Lenders, as appropriate.Monitor and review Subcontractor Health and Safety Performance, audit compliance of Subcontractors.Management of the contractual variation process on behalf of Sodexo.Maintenance of a library of contracts and contractual variations.Advise on performance and contractual matters to seek resolution, working collaboratively with Sodexo commercial, finance and operational teamsPlease see attached job description for further information regarding the role requirementsThe Ideal CandidateContract Management experience with strong commercial acumen and ability to adeptly apply contractual mechanisms to commercial discussionsExperience of PFI or large complex contracts ideally in the prison and/or wider government sectorStrong interpersonal and influencing skills for managing senior stakeholders across both organisationsAbility to understand complex issues and prioritise actions through to successful resolution.Ideally an understanding of operational prison environments and health and safety managementExcellent communication skills including a high standard of written reports.Package DescriptionWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.You’ll belong in a company and team that values you for you; you’ll act with purpose and have an impact through your everyday actions; and you’ll be able to thrive in your own way.
