This role will also include some project work to support the wider London Region race courses.Managing the appropriate financial controls, procedures and processesEnsure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements including management Profit & Loss Statements and balance sheet reconciliationsPreparation of annual budget, flash forecast, weekly trading report and trading updatesProduce ad hoc reports as requested by senior managementProduce complete, accurate and timely management accounts. Correct errors and omissions, and reconcile all key balance sheet control accounts for the contractPurchase orders, delivery notes and supplier invoices are matched correctly, properly approved for payment prior to processing via Foodbuy at site. In instances where invoices are not received, these must be followed up with the supplierReconcile all payroll forecasts with actual payroll costs and review with the GM any variancesAbout you:AAT Qualified, Part or studying CIMA/ACCA Proven experience in an accounting/finance role, preferably within hospitalityStrong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reportingProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software Excellent organisational skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to travel and work on location as neededAt Levy UK & Ireland, we take pride in fostering a workplace culture that celebrates diversity and promotes inclusion.
