As a Retail Assistant Cook at Sodexo in RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, you will support with the daily baking of the hot food in the shop on site! You'll be providing this service for our armed forces personnel, improving their quality of life every day! Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:
Prepare & produce hot food to serve in the shop to the highest standard
Monitor sanitation practices and follow standards and regulations
Communicate efficiently about stock management to you're line supervisor– from taking deliveries, to replenishing the store and stock rotation
Champion new ways of working within stores through an open mindset and positive attitude
Being proactive with supporting offers, promotions and any loyalty schemes
Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt.
Ensuring strict adherence to all EHO guidelines and systems
Working with the FOH team to drive the service excellence
What you bring:
If you have some experience in retail, Brilliant! If not? No problem, we can help support you to feel fully confident
No cooking experience required - all training will be provided
Good level of product knowledge and services across the store
Good level of digital capability and use of digital tools and applications
Understand customer needs and spot selling opportunities
