Windsor Forest College Group is looking for a Pastoral Support Tutor (Adults)tojoin the Langley team on a term-time basis.Pastoral Support Tutor (Adults)The successful candidate will be responsible for leading group pastoral and personal development activities tailored to the learners' needs, as well as providing one-to-one tutoring and coaching for pastoral wellbeing, study skills, and academic achievement. The role involves providing general information, advice, guidance, and support to students and staff regarding academic performance and financial welfare matters.To achieve this, you will collaborate with colleagues to provide group sessions, assignment support, and individual tutorials, as well as regularly meeting with students to review their academic performance and personal conduct. You’ll also liaise with teachers and relevant staff to address issues related to retention, achievement, attendance, and behaviour of students in their tutor groups. By contributing to students' Individual Learning Plans (ILP), providing extra support to vulnerable students in collaboration with the Safeguarding and Learning Support teams, you will drive participation in college events and ensure the best possible college experience and outcomes for every student.This is a term-time basis position working 37 hours per week, including evenings as required for 37 weeks between September and July.For further details on this role please refer to the attached job description/person specification.About UsThe Windsor Forest Colleges Group (TWFCG) is a leading education provider in the South-East.
