We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at HMP Forest Bank.What we are Offering:Salary of £22,308.Full-time and permanent role, 37.5 hours per week.Please see our attached benefits guide for everything we have to offer.Your Role as a CleanerAs a Cleaner, you will be responsible for the thorough cleaning of public areas, communal spaces, stairwells, and offices within the prison facility. Adhering to a pre-determined cleaning schedule, you will perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, cleaning walls, doors, windows, and other fixtures. You will also handle waste management, ensuring that waste receptacles are emptied daily, and rubbish is disposed of following internal waste management procedures.Your role will require the use of appropriate signage and cleaning practices to maintain safety standards. You will need to replenish cleaning stock in areas of responsibility and ensure that all frequently touched surfaces are sanitized regularly to maintain high hygiene standards.
