We are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our friendly team based at Dunbar Cement Plant.

Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Project Engineer at Dunbar, you would be responsible for the oversight and success of multiple capital projects across different engineering disciplines throughout the cement plant and quarry. 

The Senior Project Engineer will manage projects using CRH and Dunbar’s project templates, carefully managing project schedules, costs, and quality of solutions. Working closely with Dunbar’s management, personnel and contractors, with project deliverables clearly communicated to the relevant individuals. 

Building on the success of previous years, the Senior Project Engineer would work with other members of the project team to review and develop the project management process at Dunbar, including documents and procedures.
The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for the role of Senior Project Engineer will have 3 - 5 years experience as a Project Engineer within a manufacturing environment and experience of:


Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field (or equivalent)
PMI, APM or Prince2 (desirable)
Technical and practical working knowledge of UK Legislation (CDM, DSEAR, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH etc.)
Experience directly managing project KPI's
Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
Operational and maintenance knowledge within a cement plant process or other heavy industrial operation
Excellent planning and scheduling skills, to manage a range of priorities on multiple projects
