As a Development Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting a profitable book of UK Property and Casualty business, with a panel of brokers to develop.
Key aspects of the role include;
- Developing and underwriting new business
- Underwriting renewal business
- Building and maintaining relationships with a panel of brokers
- Providing an outstanding service to customers
- Maintaining accurate systems and documentation and producing reports as required
We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes;
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on being part of a successful team
- Existing relationships with a number of brokers in the South East of England, including London
- Advanced communication, negotiation and analytical skills
- ACII qualified
- Ability to work with a variety of systems and look for efficiencies in business processes
