A leading construction company is seeking a dynamic Senior Environment & Sustainability Advisor for an impactful role in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities:
* Guide project teams on essential documentation and licensing for new projects.
* Develop environmental plans, risk assessments, and compliance strategies.
* Collaborate with ecologists and archaeologists to support project goals.
* Advise construction teams on pollution prevention and environmental best practices.
* Ensure compliance with environmental laws through regular site inspections.
* Maintain sustainability records, including waste management and carbon tracking.
Requirements:
* Degree in Environment or Sustainability.
* Strong knowledge of environmental legislation in construction.
* Experience with environmental inspections and compliance reporting.
* Familiarity with waste management and carbon footprinting.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
* Practitioner Membership of IEMA or similar is preferred.
