Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a leading management consultancy across the UK Nuclear industry to recruit an experienced Lead Consultant for the management and delivery of a variety of Civil Nuclear projects in the Southwest. Working as the Lead Consultant, you will lead programme delivery and business growth, making a real impact on key infrastructure in the UK.
The Lead Consultant role comes with a salary of �60,000 - �85,000 dependant on experience as well as a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the senior management team you will:
� Lead in the delivery of key consultancy projects for a range of civil nuclear clients in the Southwest, offering effective solutions in the programme delivery.
� Work to build strong relationships with the clients and internal and external stakeholders.
� Support in the improvement of key project and programme performances in line with client requirements, identifying any opportunities and problems.
� Discover and develop new business opportunities and possibilities for growth.
� Demonstrate knowledge of regulators and licence conditions required to work within the civil nuclear sector.
� Engage with colleagues and the wider team to effectively deliver on project brief, collaborating with others when needed.
� Any other duties as required.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
� Experience in programme management in the civil nuclear sector.
� A chartered engineer (or chartered status in progress).
� Project Management qualified
� Previous experience managing projects in the nuclear sector is essential to this role.
