As a Production Operative Aerospace, you will be integral in ensuring the use of the best manufacturing techniques. You will program, set, and operate all machines within your cell, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality products. Your role includes the energetic pursuit of process improvements, stringent adherence to quality standards, maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards, strict preventative maintenance schedules, and accurate recording and updating of manufacturing process information.
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Core shift: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:15 and Friday 08:00 to 15:00 with a 30-minute break for lunch.
Production Operative Aerospace Requirements:
* Must have the right to live and work in the UK (Essential)
* Comprehensive understanding of wide-ranging manufacturing processes.
* Experience in working to engineering drawings or work instructions (i.e., Job Cards).
* Ability to program, set, and operate different machine tools.
* High-level understanding of geometric dimensions & tolerances.
* Experience working on large components using a steady (Desirable).
* Good knowledge of Health & Safety (Desirable).
* Basic computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel (Desirable).
