Are you an experienced Application or Sales Engineer looking for an exciting new job opportunity?
We are currently looking for an Application Engineer to join a leading electronics company based in the Surrey area.
As the Application Engineer you will be responsible for identifying and creating new sales opportunities (heat pump / heat recovery equipment) and prepare project proposals based on design, as well as providing technical support to consultant and contractors.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Application Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Whilst building a strong customer base and relationship, you will be responsible for achieving overall sales and KPI targets - heat pump, heat recovery limited design, equipment selection and quotation generation.
2. You will proactively develop, track and aggressively grow specifications across market segments, continually building a pipeline of new projects.
3. As an Application Engineer, you will need to identify and create new sales opportunities with both existing and new customers, with a view of achieving set and agreed sales targets.
4. Prepare project proposal based on design, specification and quotations using the company equipment with support of the application engineering team.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Application Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. An Engineering degree (Mechanical/Technical) is preferable and experience working within the air conditioning (VRF/applied) industry is essential.
2. A technical understanding of VRF systems and design is required. Knowledge of applied products/chillers/AHU would be plus.
3. If you have sold HVAC VRF based heating, cooling, controls, BMS, ventilation technologies into commercial infrastructure projects then this will be an advantage.
