As a Civil Engineer, you'll take charge of a diverse range of civil engineering and structural assets, spanning from land-based infrastructures like bridges and roadways to marine structures such as piers, quays, and breakwaters. You'll act as an internal consultant for the Engineering department and the wider business, ensuring designs and specifications meet top-notch standards. Overseeing a programme of condition inspections, you'll plan efficient maintenance and repairs, pushing our sustainability goals. Embrace cutting-edge design and construction methodologies to drive innovation, and prepare detailed designs, work packages, specifications, and drawings for various construction and maintenance projects. We support candidates working towards chartership, offering mentoring for professional review with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Civil Engineer Requirements:
* BEng/MEng in relevant Engineering discipline, with 3+ years post-graduate experience
* Familiar with current design codes
* Understanding of CDM Regulations
* Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with a structured, methodical approach, offer ideas, make decisions and apply good judgement in problem solving
* Skilled and knowledgeable in the use of (or willing to learn) AutoCad
* Hold a valid UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
