Our award-winning Cruise Operation at Saga is looking for a new manager in the Digital Marketing team. We are keen to appoint an E-commerce and CRO Manager who will lead a small team of digital experts and a CRO specialist.

Joining us as the E-com and CRO Manager, you will need to be a technical expert user on Adobe Target and have managed the E-com channel for premium goods / big ticket items.

Ultimately, you will be a highly skilled conversion rate optimizer. Bringing to our team your digital knowledge and skills to increase engagement and purchases online and via the customer contact centre.

Reporting directly to our Head of Digital, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our online Saga Cruise’s business. You will be key to managing the E-commerce journey and presenting and reporting on your teams success back to key stakeholders across Saga!

*You will be required to visit the London or Ashford Saga Hub around 2/3 times a week with other days working from home. You must be within a reasonable commuting distance to attend both offices.

Main ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will fully own the E-commerce and CRO strategy and be responsible for the following:  


Design and implement a continuous test and learn strategy for CRO, embedding best practice and agile working.
Be the champion of the customer and best in class user experience on the website owning all online customer journeys and continuously striving for improvement and desired actions.
Use data and analytics to make decisions and drive strategy.
Manage the website performance reporting, identifying trends and opportunities and feeding this date into the Saga Cruise senior leadership team.
Provide daily/weekly/monthly website performance and insights to Marketing Director and all other department heads.

The Ideal CandidateCandidates wishing to apply will need to demonstrate how they have made a significant difference to an E-commerce channel for a b2c market. Ideally in the cruise, travel or premium product market. Able to demonstrate the following skills and experience;


A expert user on Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics.
Have ideally 5+ years digital marketing experience in the E-commerce channel.

Hold a Marketing/Technical/Data qualification.
Be seen as a digital expert and have 3+ years CRO experience.
A robust individual with resilience and experience driving success in a complex, matrix-style business.
High energy and drive, excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
Commercially aware and focused on business objectives and targets.
Motivated problem solver/innovative thinker with a positive attitude to change.
Analytical, with experience in proposing regular new developments based on data.
