We are looking for a keen professional to assist a Local Authority with managing their portfolio of temporary accommodation.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring all health and safety standards are met across the councils portfolio of temporary accommodation options by completing inspections
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including those who provide temporary accommodation to the council
- Assisting homeless households with rent payments and managing any other issues that arise such as ASB complaints
Candidate requirements:
- Have an understanding of private sector housing laws, including health and safety obligations
- Previous experience of working within a similar housing role for another Local Authority
