Sodexo Live has an exceptional opportunity for a Staffing Co-ordinator to join our first-class team at Ascot Racecourse.You will be working as part of the HR & Staffing team, at the iconic Ascot Racecourse where we are committed to providing our guests with an outstanding experience, whether they come to race, hold a business meeting or host a private dinner.You will play a key role within the HR & Staffing function and will be accountable for planning and rostering casual labour, forecasting labour costs, manging you own labour accounts and working closely with agency partners to develop the skill base of our Raceday & Event Casual workforce.Main ResponsibilitiesTo ensure that all race days and events are fully staffed with the highest calibre and skill level, to the agreed ratios provided by the operational teamForecast and report actual costs within agreed timeframes and with a high level of accuracyEnsuring that best practice procedures and HR policies are consistently appliedTo manage and respond to all agency timesheet queries and ensure accuracy of all account dataTo support with the staffing requirements of  external ‘1711 by Ascot Events’To drive the engagement of direct casual workers for all eventsTo plan and roster for all key events using the Humanforce Time and Attendance systemEngage with agencies to build rapport with representatives to ensure they understand our requirements and are committed to deliverTo support your own staffing accounts, which may include Hospitality & Fine Dining, Retail, Boxes, Cellar or LogisticsTo ensure effective recruitment and onboarding of staff for 1711 by Ascot, utilising the ‘1711 by Ascot’ brandPromote Sodexo as the preferred employer both internally and externallyEnsure all labour is accurately planned and forecasted in line with labour productivity initiatives and budgets, to meet company and client objectivesThe Ideal CandidateYou will have previous experience of working in a recruitment or staffing environment.
