If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Product Manager to become an integral part of our dynamic team in Swindon.

Who We Are and What We Do

We create, licence, manufacture, sell and provide services for technologies which:

* Control and monitor high voltages and power (11 kV to 400 kV and up to 1000 MVA); and
* Are fitted in electricity substations, on overhead power lines, and in control centres.

We call this Total Voltage Control.

As a Product Manager, you'll primarily focus on maintaining and prioritising the work list, ensuring it aligns with market, customer, and company needs. Your role will involve making product-oriented decisions, leveraging market research, competitor analysis, and the voice of the customer to define requirements for new products and features. Additionally, you'll contribute to product pricing strategies, support promotional activities, and assist in tendering processes. You'll provide specialised product knowledge and support, forecasting challenges, and developing solutions. Collaboration with Marketing to create promotional content, acting as the central information hub for customers, and coordinating with Account Managers for effective communication are crucial aspects of your role. Moreover, you'll offer pre-sale technical advice, assist customers in product usage, and resolve product-related issues as they arise.

Product Manager requirements:

* Proven work experience in product management and track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
* Degree or HND level qualification preferably in an electrical, electronic or software engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience. (Significant experience for the Head of Product & Portfolio role)
* Excellent motivational, negotiating and influencing skills.
* Credible and confident communicator at all levels, capable of reading and understanding technical specifications and drawings.
* Able to think 'big picture' and prioritise and manage and drive change.
