We are currently looking for an P2P Business Partnering Lead​ – Maternity Cover to join our high performing finance team for a 6-9 month contract.  Although the role is based at our Solihull Head Office, we are currently employing a flexible, hybrid working model 2 days per week in the office.

Main ResponsibilitiesThe P2P Business Partnering, Audit and Technical Lead will lead the Business Partnering and Audit & Development teams within P2P focussing predominantly on business partnering, IT developments, process improvement, SOX controls and supporting the internal and external audit process.

Manage the Business Partner Support team and the Development and Audit Team, conducting monthly one to ones and half year/end of year reviews.

• Liaise with regional finance and operational units, supporting business compliance on GRNI, first time match rate and supplier webcyclequeries.

• Produce quality comms to internal and external stakeholders when required to support the implementation of new or changed P2P policies and procedures.

• Work with the P2P and IT Team and external suppliers as appropriate to drive and manage all IT developments to completion within scope and schedule.

• Collaborate and contribute to the P2P objectives and successes, including actively seeking out improvements and opportunities to simplify processes, improve compliance and assisting with product development.

• Utilise business acumen, data, accounting, finance and industry knowledge to support the P2P team to implement improvement initiatives and become an application expert to address business challenges.

• Support the P2P Team and wider business with training and development on existing and new processes and IT developments, providing training in various forms (MS Teams, in person etc) to ensure consistency and compliance.

• Support the Audit and Technical Administrators in the execution of SOX controls and continually review SOX compliance remediating control gaps and escalating critical issues.

• Responsible for working with different work streams on implementation, execution and compliance with entity level controls.

• Supports all audit processes by ensuring all documentation is collated and submitted on time and is of the required standard.
The Ideal CandidateIdeally you will be an experienced accounts payable professional with a proven track record of leading high performing teams, who is immediately available or at short notice.  


Knowledge of the end to end Purchase to Pay processes
Line Management experience
Understanding of SOX legislation
Understanding of audit process
Business acumen Skills
Have used IT Systems including : SAP and have good Excel skills
Process improvement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
