About the role:

Our team is responsible for the property compliance service chargeable contracts and other related suppliers. Your role will be to ensure that necessary remedial works are arranged and carried out within the correct time frames in areas such as the safety of: fire, water, asbestos, lifts, door entry, and other mechanical and electrical (M&E) elements. These actions could arise from service contracts or inspections, servicing visits and site assessments, which you will need to record, place orders for and monitor through to completion. Reporting to and supported by the Fire Safety Works Manager, working with 3 other experienced Coordinators to who will help you settle in to this busy and interesting role. Developing a detailed understanding of the end-to-end risk management processes, statutory legal obligations and service inspections relating to all compliance activities and ensure that Paradigm Housing Group is fully compliant in all its obligations under the relevant legislation.

About You

There are external consultants to work with and colleagues across our business, so it is important that you are confident and competent in your communications with people knowing when and how to exercise a degree of assertiveness to get things done.

- Excellent verbal and written communication ability
- Report writing skills
- You should be used to taking personal responsibility for assessing situations, making appropriate decisions and concluding enquiries
- Able to multi-task and deal with competing priorities
- Ability to prioritise, recognise and escalate risk appropriately
