Your role in detail
You’ll be given high levels of autonomy in your role and be responsible for:

Data Management: Collect, clean, and organise large data sets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Data Analysis: Analyse complex data sets using Excel to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can provide valuable insights for the asset owning business.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Decision Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and support strategic decision-making processes.
Process Design and Improvement: Build and embed new processes to maximise value. Identify opportunities to streamline data management processes and develop efficient workflows.
Data Visualisation: Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand charts, graphs, and presentations to effectively convey analytical findings.
Manage Exceptions: Engage with other team members to investigate and resolve.
Management information: provide routine KPI packs to aid decision making in the business.

Who we're looking for
To be considered for this position you will have: 

SQL Skills: Utilise SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases, enhancing data analysis capabilities.
Energy Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry data sources to understand the context and implications of data analysis in the energy sector.
Database design, build and development.
Experience working in an asset management business.
