We are looking for an experienced Housing Standards Officer to assist a Local Authority with maintaining their portfolio of properties.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Completing inspections on properties
- Esnuring properties meet housing standard requirements and planning improvement work if standards are not met
- Assessing the progress of planned works
- Building and maintaining relationships with members of the council across multiple departments
Candidate requirements:
- Experience of assessing properties using the HHSRS
- Experience of dealing with complaints, including HMO issues
